    The Syracuse Public Library has adopted a small segment of the 12-mile Syracuse-Wawasee Trail and is now seeking volunteers to help keep it maintained.   • Closed For Presidents’ Day
    Feb. 21st
    The Syracuse Public Library will close in observation of Presidents’ Day Monday, Feb. 21. Additionally, Mahjong will be on break after its Monday, Feb. 14, session, which occurs at 1 p.m. The group will return at 1 p.m. Monday, March 14.

  • Play Bookopoly In The Children’s Department
    All of February
    Pick up a Bookopoly sheet in the Syracuse Public Library’s children’s department and complete tasks like “read a winter book,” “read a graphic novel or early reader” and so on. Children who complete their Bookopoly board will win a free book! Bookopoly will run until the end of Feb.
  • Library Hosts Giveaway

    Participate in the Syracuse Public Library’s giveaway of a five-in-one mandoline and spiralizer set. Visit the thankfulness tree upstairs and fill out a leaf by writing what you are thankful for on one side before putting your name and phone # on the back.

    Wawasee High School’s Key Club will once again have their Stuff The Bus campaign for the holiday season. This is an opportunity to donate food items to the food banks in our communities.   • Syracuse Public Library Food Drive for the Syracuse Food Pantry

    Donation boxes are available now at both entries to receive nonperishable food and toiletries. A complete list of most-needed items is available at both circulation desks. Monetary donations can also be made at the library's circulation desks. Make checks out to the Syracuse Food Pantry.
