  • Kosciusko County was named in 1835 for the Revolutionary War General Tadeusz Kosciuszko of Poland (the “Z” was dropped).

  • Over 100 lakes were carved by ancient glaciers (the larges is Lake Wawasee).
  • Fourth largest county in Indiana.
